The
Lancashire Soul Corporation, Is the umbrella title for a group of
like minded individuals who enjoy soul music and DJ’ing. LSC
can trace its history back over 12 years from its origins at Hollinwood
Soul Club who used to meet at Byrom Street Club, Oldham; it has
continued its Thursday soul nights every week at various local venues
ever since. LSC now meet at The Star Inn, Church Street, Failsworth, Oldham, (8pm until midnight), for an informal evening where individuals can bring a box and try the decks, or buy, sell or swap records, chill out and chat. The LSC also has a monthly soul night at The Polish Catholic Social Club, Chamber Road, Hollins, Oldham, from 8pm until 2am, featuring LSC DJs and occasional guests. |

Welcome
to YKSoul. YKSoul is a charity collective consisting of Andy Bellwood,
Nick Beilby and Steve Bradley who promote and DJ at soul events
in York, UK, with all proceeds going to charity. Since 2003, YKSoul
has raised over £25,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust, Meningitis
Research, St Leonard’s Hospice, Leukemia Research, Cystic
Fibrosis Trust, St Leonards Hospice, MacMillan Cancer Relief and
DebRA. |
